Not to be outdone by Warhawk and its Judge Dredd-like Arbiters, Bungie is warming up the Banhammer to bash in the skulls of Halo 3’s undesired element.
Luke Smith warned the “naughty” members of the Halo 3 community that “This ain’t a church and there is no redemption or salvation once you have been judged. Apologies are now officially too late to save you. The storm approaches.” He always did have a flair for the dramatic.

US-based analysts NPD Group have recently confirmed North American hardware sales for September, which show the Xbox 360 sitting at the top of the heap thanks to last month’s launch of Halo 3.
Jumping ahead of Nintendo’s dynamic duo of Wii and DS with over 527,000 units sold (the number of units sold of Wii and DS during September stood at 501,000 and 495,800 respectively) thanks to Master Chief and Bungie Studios finishing the fight, the month saw the Xbox 360 outsell PlayStation 3 by over four to one.

Games don’t come much more review-proof than “Halo 3,” the much-anticipated capper of the blockbuster “Halo” trilogy. Praising the wildly ambitious online multiplayer half of the game and lamenting that the single-player campaign plays it far too safe will not matter to the legions of ardent “Halo” fans. What matters is finishing “the fight” between the alien Covenant and the human race — and this is indeed brought to a satisfying conclusion.

Master Chief may have had the biggest entertainment day in history with Halo 3, but there’s more than Spartan casualties on the battlefield according to a report from Advertising Age.
Apparently, industry expectations for the recently released Ben Stiller movie, The Heartbreak Kid, were set a bit high, in light of the Chief’s media power. While the film was set to clear $20-25 million at the box office in its opening week, it managed only a paltry $14 million when released on October 5. But, this was an overall film industry decline of 27% from the year before.

Black Eye Skull Effect: When you lose shield, the only way to get it back it to melee an enemy.
Black Eye Skull Location:
This Skull is located in the beginning of the second level “Crow’s Nest”, the very room you start in. Hanging down from the ceiling is some piping. On top of this piping, on the side nearest to the large display (the one that Hood appears on) lies the “Black Eye Skull”.
You can gain access to the pipes a few different ways.

You’ll need to grab a few achievements in Halo 3 before acquiring the full Ascetic Armor set for the Elite Player model:
* For the “Ascetic” Body, you need to unlock the “Up Close and Personal” achievement.
* For the “Ascetic” Shoulders, you need to unlock the “Overkill” achievement.
* For the “Ascetic” Helmet, you need to unlock the “Steppin’ Razor” achievement.
